Sanctioned Event !
The third annual Inland Empire Coral Farmers MarketSM event on September 18th 2011 was a well attended event. We downsized slightly due to the slowing California economy. Public participation was also slightly less then our 2010 event and we have come to expect slower economic activity recently in California. Overall however everyone had a good time and vendors that were able to participate were pleased with the coral show event. Total participation in the event was slightly over 300. Attendance was free and many reef aquarist brought their entire family to see the exotic and colorful coral display. This event is changing more from a regional Southern California coral show to a more local Inland Empire based coral show. Although we do tend to feature at least a few out of town vendors. The operation of this event was relatively flawless. We would again like to thank the Inland Empire Marine Aquarium Society for their superb efforts with installing and breaking down our infrastructure. It appears that the Inland Empire Coral Farmers MarketSM company actually made a relatively small profit for this event.
