TM
Sanctioned Event !

Thanks to everyone who helped to make the third Bay Area Coral Farmers Market event a success ! We acheived a total attendance figure of 171. Unfortunately this event was scheduled to occur on Mothers Day, but even with that scheduling mistake we only experienced a slight drop in total attendance from last year (drop of 16). This helps to demonstrate that there is a core support group for a Coral Farmers Market event within the Bay Area. Our 2008 vendor participation was similar to the 2007 vendor participation. We will be scheduling the 4th Bay Area Coral Farmers Market to occur within the months of May or June in 2009. The exact date and place will be determined later this year. Most of the vendors this year did good. They found the attendees to be knowledgeable and easy to deal with. The selection of captive grown corals was spectacular once again (see images below). We had almost no operational problems during the event and were able to open the venue on time. As usual we are getting some great feedback from the attendees and vendors. We have added some images of the event below.
